Choosing the right Mei Tai...

INFANT MEI TAIS

Infant Mei Tais are suitable from birth to approximately 18 months old. They have a specially tapered body shape to reduce bulk between a young baby’s legs. The leg rests are padded for comfort.

Infant Mei Tais have a curved, lightly padded headrest, which measures 10cm. The headrest can be flipped down to allow younger babies to see out and for older babies to have their arms out. When flipped up, the headrest will support a sleeping baby’s head until approximately 18 months of age.

After this, a TODDLER MEI TAI is recommended.

TODDLER MEI TAIS

TODDLER Mei Tais are suitable from approximately 15 – 36 months old.

They have a slightly longer body, a lightly padded square top and a beautifully appliquéd sleephood which can be rolled up or tucked away when not in use.

They have a wider seat to better support a toddler’s thighs and the seat edges are padded for comfort.
