Custom made baby Carriers

Pouchlings custom carriers are made from our own weight-bearing base fabrics and can be customised in a variety of ways.
Base fabrics include durable cotton twill, drill, calico, canvas, corduroy, heavy velvet and Pouchlings' own Honeycomb Loom woven wrap fabric. Base fabrics can then be embellished with lighter, quilting-weight fabrics, wrap scraps, applique artwork, character hoods, and themes in a variety of ways. Your custom carrier can be as simple or as complex as you want. Making it will be a collaborative process and I am happy to help you work through any ideas you may have so that you end up with your dream carrier. Once you have booked a slot, I will send you an order form with all the potential design features and fabric choices. At this point, I am also happy to discuss all possibilities with you until we are both happy with a final design. When pricing a custom-made carrier, the labour costs will be added to the fabric costs. If you have also requested artwork or a themed carrier, this will also be worked out on an hourly rate. |

LABOUR COSTS:
Please choose the type of carrier you would like from the selection below. The pricing for each carrier starts with a "BASIC" version, which is the simplest form of the carrier, (ie: apron-style waistband and no sleep hood). From that starting point, you can "build-your-own" carrier, choosing as many extra design features as you want to create the carrier most suited to your needs and to your budget. FABRIC and ARTWORK COSTS
The main part of the carrier must be constructed from one of my weight-bearing fabrics. Decorative elements can then be added to these base fabrics. I have provided a rough guide for fabric costs according to the type of carrier but, ultimately, I won't know exactly how much the final cost will be until I have all the design specifications. FINALISE THE DETAILS:
When you are ready, please contact me to book a slot and I will send you the appropriate order form and all other relevant information. (I usually take bookings for the following month). At this point I will be happy to discuss all the design possibilities with you and will be able to give you an estimate of the final cost. |
