Wrap chopping/ wrap fringing service
If your woven wrap is too long, there's no need to sell it on when you can have it professionally shortened to a more useable length.
Or, perhaps you are having a Ring Sling conversion and would like the remainder turned into a shortie wrap?
There is no need to go on a waiting list to have your wrap shortened. Shorties will be finished and posted back to you within a couple of days.
Wrap fringing may take a bit longer but I will contact you if I believe the turnaround time will be more than 1 week.

Fringing wrap, shawl or ring sling ends
If you would like to add a little bit of extra glamour to your woven wrap, Ring Sling or shawl conversion, why not have one, or both ends fringed?
Fringing involves carefully removing a number of wefts from the end of the wrap and securing the raw end with hem-stitching. The finish can be as simple or as elaborate as you like.
Machine hem-stitching is a simple overlocking of the raw edge.
Hem-stitching by hand involves stretching the loose warps in a frame, dividing them into small, even groups and embroidering around these groups to create tassels.
Tassels can be left loose, twisted to form cords or macramed into a lattice pattern.
Both hand-woven and factory-made wraps can be fringed.
