Wrap conversion Mei Tai (Meh Dai), or Half Buckle baby carrier in a vibrant pink and black coloured wrap fabric.
This is a carrier that snugs cosily around a tiny newborn but also supports heavier toddlers and pre-schoolers without being bulky.
Available in 5 sizes from newborn to toddler and toddler to pre-schooler.
Choose from either a self-supporting padded headrest/backrest or an adjustable sleep-hood in a range of designs.
- The lightly padded waistband means that the body panel can be rolled up and cinched smaller making it suitable for newborn babies, or worn "waterfall" style to lengthen the body for larger babies.
- The waistband on the Mei Tai fastens with 2 x 70cm long fabric waist ties. The Half Buckle waistband fastens with 2 x 70cm lengths of webbing and a Dual Adjust buckle.
- The 2.1m long, 30cm wide, single-layer wrap straps spread the weight evenly across the wearer's shoulders and upper back. The wide straps can also be spread across baby's bum and thighs to give extra support and extend the wearing life of the carrier.
- Integral width cinchers will allow you to reduce the width by a couple of inches each side so it can be perfectly fitted to your baby as they grow;
- Suitable for parent-facing front, back and hip carriers.

If in doubt, I recommend placing your baby in a good "supported squat" position either in your arms or in your current carrier. Then, using a soft tape measure, take the measurement from one knee-pit, under baby's seat to the other knee-pit. This will give you the most suitable width.
