Wrap conversion Meh Dai (Mei Tai) baby carrier in a deep inky blue and black coloured wrap fabric.

This is an lightly padded carrier which perfectly snugs around a tiny newborn but also supports heavier toddlers and pre-schoolers without being bulky. Adjustable in width and height, it will grow with your child.

Available in three sizes: Newborn, Toddler and Pre-schooler.

Suitable for parent-facing front, back and hip carriers.

Choose from either a self-supporting padded headrest/backrest or an adjustable sleep-hood in a choice of designs.

As standard it comes with:

  • A 5" wide, soft padded waistband with 2 x 65cm fabric ties;
  • 2.1m long, 30cm wide, single layer wrap straps;
  • Infant size has a flat unshaped body panel for a closer cuddle; Toddler and pre-school sizes have a shaped body panel with seat darts for a deeper seat;
  • Width and height cinchers;
  • Leg padding;


Optional extras include:


  • Combination padded-to-wrap shoulder straps. These are padded for the first 15" with a flap that hugs the shoulder to stop it slipping up to the wearer's neck. The rest of the strap is the full 30cm width which spreads the weight evenly across the whole back and can be spread wide to support baby's bum and thighs;
